A quasi - medieval arcaded cloister
forms the centrepiece of Urgup's
newest cave - hotel hidden deeply in
one of town's maze-like old quarters.

The highlight of this hotel is an
extraordinary collection of antique
fabrics, which includes an 18th
century tapestry of Syrian velvet
hanging in the common-room.
Unusual kilims decorate the eight bedrooms
which are individually colour
coordinated and furnished in different styles.
